The driving force behind the Miss Tembisa PageantRatile Boitumelo Mabitsela
Director of Miss Tembisa Pageant, mother, wife, businesswoman and philanthropist.
Ratile grew up in Tembisa, Maokeng and was crowned Miss Tembisa 2014. She took over the Miss Tembisa brand in 2019 with the intention to grow, empower and open up fair and good opportunities to the young ladies of Tembisa.
Ratile is passionate about women empowerment and aims to make her mark when it comes to empowering the girl child.
She holds a National Diploma in Operations Management, Degree in Project management and an Honors degree in Programme Management, she is a director of T&T Energies and Glam Directory to name a few.
She lives by the motto, “You never lose anything from trying”.
Tokollo Bapela
Tokollo Bapela is a 23-year-old two time graduate from The South African College of Applied Psychology, and she holds a Diploma in Counseling and Communications as well as a Bachelors Degree in Applied Social Sciences majoring in Psychology and Counseling.
She describes herself as ambitious and driven. She thrives on challenging and constantly setting goals for herself. Tokollo isn’t comfortable with settling, she’s always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness. Hence after her reign as Miss Tembisa 2017/18 she decided to join the Miss Tembisa management team, in order for her to give upcoming queens the opportunities she never received during her year of reign. Tokollo is currently responsible for the administrative duties of Miss Tembisa, PR, as well as planning and coordinating the grand finale. Tokollo is also a former pageant queen with titles such as Miss Tembisa 2017/18 and Miss Ekurhuleni Ambassador Second Princess 2018/19, to name a few.
Mohau Hlatshwayo
Mohau Hlatshwayo graduated from the University of Johannesburg with an Honours degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor’s in Strategic Communication in Marketing Communication. She is a freelance social media manager, pageant coach, and anti-bullying activist. She holds titles such as Miss Cosmos 1st Runner Up 2021, Miss Tembisa 2019/20, Miss UJ Varsity Cup First Princess, and Miss Teen Tembisa 2015/16.
She is a bold and brave young leader who believes that dust settles but queens don’t. She joined the management team to help the Miss Tembisa organisation grow as a tool to support and empower the Tembisa community. She is responsible for sponsorship, marketing and communications, and coordinating the pageant.
